Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions…
What are your booking Terms & Conditions?
We require a 25% deposit to secure your date and the remaining balance is due 28 days prior to the event date.
Payment methods and terms are issued on your booking forms which are sent via email. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.
How long do you need to set up and pack down?
It takes us around 30 minutes to set up and be ready to go and around 20 minutes to pack down.
Can you set up outside?
We are more than happy to set up outside at venues however we do require a shelter to work under - i.e a gazebo along with lighting. If there are adverse weather conditions we will need to be inside so I would always recommend having a 'plan b'.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
We do indeed. We have Public Liability Insurance to the value of £1 million and will issue our certificates prior to each event.
How much do you charge?
We offer different packages depending on the numbers of the guests - all our packages can be found here. We can also tailor packages specifically for individual events.
Where do you cover?
We have Artists based in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire so primarily do events in East Anglia, however we are more than happy to travel further afield but additional travel costs would occur.
Travel for our Hair 'n' Glitz packages is included if the event is within 10 miles from IP21, Norfolk. Travel is chargeable at £0.45 per mile if the event is 10 miles or more from IP21, Norfolk.
Is your glitter eco-friendly?
It most certainly is and we are very proud of this. More information on what we include to be as eco-friendly as possible can be found here.
Can I keep the coloured hair?
Of course! As long as you take the hair out and keep it stored safely, this can be used again and again. However, due to it being synthetic hair, you cannot use heat appliances on it.
How long will my braids last?
Braids can last up to a week, depending on how you look after them.
Do I need to do anything with my hair prior to having it braided?
It is easier to braid hair that hasn't been freshly washed, however we would appreciate your hair to be brushed and knot-free prior to us braiding it. We will of course brush it through for you.
Which ages do you cater for?
There is no upper age limit on any of our services, we love providing our braids and glitz for all ages however the minimum age is 6 years old.

How do I remove the glitter/face-paint/hair-braids?
The glitter and face-paints are easily removed with a face cloth and water. It is not advised to use and lotions or wet/baby/cosmetic wipes as they may cause a reaction when mixed with some makes of face-paint.

Hair braids can be untied at the bottom and unravelled; it is not recommended to untie them from the top as you may cause damage to the hair. Please ensure children are supervised when removing hair braids.
